Discipline

  • Uniform
    • All students must wear the prescribed University uniforms for all class sessions, including the times when they represent the University in events outside the campus
    • Student ID should be worn at all times.
  • Studies
    • Students must attend all the class sessions, organized activities and special events scheduled by the University.
    • Students who are given tasks by the lecturers should carry out their assignments conscientiously.
    • Students who want to change their major subjects or study schedule, need to provide a strong reason. Permission will be granted by the University upon recommendation by their respective Department Heads.
  • Behavior
    • Good behavior should be observed on the campus at all times, and students should especially not be disruptive in class.
    • Should a lecturer be late for 15 minutes, the student representative should contact the Administration Office/Lecturer's room to get information about their lecturer
    • In the event that friends need to pass an important message to the students in class, the shortest possible time should be taken.
    • Personal audio gadgets (eg MP3) or techno-game sets are not permitted in the classroom.
    • Mobile phones should be set on silent mode. Use of phones during class sessions is not approved except for emergencies, in which case, the call should be brief and taken outside the classroom.
    • Gangterism and bullying are not acceptable in the University.
    • Students are not allowed to do the following within the University permises:
      1. Smoke or consume liquor
      2. Use and/or sell drugs
      3. Possess weapons and/or explosive elements
      4. Gamble, place bets, or take part in any wager
      5. Initiate or participate in demonstrations
      6. Steal or be involved in petty theft
      7. Use foul language or make dirty signs
      8. Indulge in public display of affection
      9. Destroy University property
      10. Dirty the surroundings
      11. Engage in any other offenses as deemed inappropriate by the University
