17 Staff including Chairman Rev. David Koo, President Cho Ja Kim from Life University visited to Korea for 10 days during 7 – 17 July 2008 to attend QS apple conference at Yonsei University. During their stay, President Cho Ja Kim arranged many remarkable meetings such as meeting with President of Yonsei Severance Hospital and President of Korean Nurses Association.
They also visited Ajou University in Suwon and Margaret Pritchard University in Cheon Ju, one of the provinces in southern part. Especially, during this time, Life University made MOU with Ajou University and Kyunggi Nursing Association, and had a international symposium at Ajou University with 6 topics including 3 presentations titled Cambodian culture and history, Higher Education in Cambodia and Health Delivery System and nursing education in Cambodia from Lecturers of Life University.
LG Digital Park in Pyung Tack is one of the interesting place to see technical development of Korea.
They could experience Korean culture and education system, and took some lessons from Korean Economic developments.

The first Cambodia-Korea Nursing Conference Hosted by Life University and World Christian Nursing Foundation Was Held Successfully.
The first Cambodia-Korea Nursing Conference, hosted by Life University(President Cho Ja Kim) and World Christian Nursing Foundation(WCNF, President Song Hee Lee) was held on 12 May 2008, at the Independence Hotel in Sihanouk Ville.
Thirty-three participants from Korea, USA, Canada, and France, and fifty-six participants from Cambodian Ministry of Health, National hospitals, Nursing schools, etc from Phnom Penh and all provinces attended the conference. And they shared the achievements of academic and clinical researches for many topics including comparison of nursing education between Cambodia and Korea, maternity health care, HIV/AIDS through the 17 poster presentations and 6 speech presentations.
Among them, “Health Care Delivery System in Cambodia”, the presentation of Dr. Sann Sary(Director of Hospital Service, Ministry of Health) and “Primary Health Care in Korea”, the presentation of Professor Chungnam Kim(Keimyung University, Korea) have mostly attracted participant's attention.
H.E. Tep Lun(Director General for Health, Ministry of Health), on behalf of the Minister of the Ministry of Health, emphasized and celebrated the conference is not only the first international nursing conference of Cambodia but also good opportunity to promote the development of health care system in Cambodia through exchanging the academic accomplishments in his congratulatory address. Life University established the second 4-year course of nursing in Cambodia, 2006, and has made much effort to raise qualified nurses who lead and commit to health care improvement in Cambodia.

The funds from KOICA(Korea International Cooperation Agency, President Shin Jang-Bum) and World Christian Nursing Foundation(WCNF, President Song Hee Lee), and sponsor of Korean Nurses Association(KNA, President Shin Kyung Lim) have made the way to Practice by using new nursing equipment for nursing students of Life University(President Cho Ja Kim). On 12 May, Independence Hotel in Sihanouk Ville, The Donation Ceremony of Nursing Practice Equipment was held. Byung-gwan Kim, Representative of KOICA Office in Cambodia, Song Hee Lee, President of WCNF, and Yong Soon Kim, Vice President of KNA granted the Certificate of Donation to Life University. By the donation, around $100,000,, Life University has equipped for Nursing Practice
Now there are 1 st and 2 nd year, total around 80 students who want to be a outstanding nurse, in the College of Nursing, Life University opened October 2006.
